We love to host weddings at Mr Hobson and cater for groups of all sizes. There are many spectacular options nearby for outdoor or indoor ceremonies or you may choose to have a ceremony on premise.

Port Melbourne provides a picturesque setting perfect for stunning wedding photography with romantic walkways, sea-side boardwalks, sandy beaches, sun-set facing back-drops, and a historic railway line and railway station. This means that you spend less time and energy travelling and more time making the most of the big day.

THE CEREMONY

You are welcome to have your ceremony in the lounge, private dining room, or waterview room depending on your number of guests. There are different layouts depending on which space you use and what you would prefer the backdrop to be. For smaller groups, you can have your ceremony in the lounge and reception in the private dining room. For larger groups, you can have your ceremony in the waterview room and reception in the sunset room.

THE RECEPTION

At Mr Hobson, we are committed to providing unforgettable experiences. We understand that each wedding is as unique as each couple and can tailor packages to suit your requirements. We have many versatile functions spaces where you can host your reception whether you would prefer a cocktail style or seated event. There are two options for table settings, round or rectangular.
